LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, your level 2 spike with E+Q is the strongest moment in this lane — if you land E on Jinx and follow with Q stun before Lulu can W you, you can force a flash or secure a kill.
- However, post-6 the lane shifts against you because Lulu's R makes Jinx extremely hard to burst, and your R bouncing in a spread-out lane loses significant value compared to a clustered teamfight.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to walk up and land E on Jinx when Lulu's W is on cooldown, then immediately Q to stun her and let Smolder follow up with his Q for the passive burn stack damage.
- Never initiate your combo on Lulu — she has too many tools to disengage and your mana is too valuable to waste on a target that will simply shield or polymorph you.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should not roam aggressively in this matchup because Jinx's wave clear with rockets is fast enough to crash the wave and take plates while you're gone, and Lulu can follow your roam efficiently with her movement speed tools.
- If you do roam, the only correct timing is after a successful all-in that burns Lulu's R and forces both enemies to back, giving you a free window to impact mid.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not stack your passive on Smolder's minions trying to set up poke — your E has a short range and walking up repeatedly to poke gives Lulu free Q harass on you, which will push you out of lane faster than you can sustain.
- Respect Lulu's Q range and only commit to trades when you have a clear stun path onto Jinx.
