LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6 you win this lane convincingly at every level because your soldiers outrange everything Mordekaiser has and he has no reliable gap-close until he lands E — at level 3 you can establish a soldier formation and freely poke him below 50% HP before he can threaten you.
- Post-6 you lose the 1v1 entirely if he lands R, as your soldiers disappear in the Death Realm and he steals your AP, turning your own stat investment against you.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to place soldiers at maximum range and auto-attack through them while staying outside his E range — if he walks up aggressively, use your W dash behind a soldier to reposition rather than standing still, and never let him stack his passive to three marks on you without disengaging.
- Short trades where you deal soldier damage and immediately back off are far more effective than extended fights where his passive aura and W sustain come online.
Wave Control
- You want to control the wave by using soldiers to safely last-hit and push without walking up yourself, denying Mordekaiser the close-range engagement he needs to be relevant — a pushed wave also means he cannot freely walk at you without risking tower damage.
- If you build a significant CS lead, roaming mid after a shove is a strong option since Mordekaiser has no mobility to follow and you punish his immobility.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your W dash aggressively toward him to reposition for damage — this is your only escape tool and burning it offensively leaves you with no answer when he lands E and commits to a full trade.
- Never let him R you when you are below roughly 60% HP, as the stat steal combined with his passive aura in a closed environment will kill you before the seven seconds expire regardless of how well you play inside the Death Realm.
