Who Wins

  • Pre-6 you lose trades due to Tristana's E burst and Swain's Q-W combo, but can match their range and poke safely.
  • Post-6 you still struggle as Tristana's all-in with R becomes lethal and Swain's R makes him nearly unkillable in extended fights.

Synergy & Trading

  • Use W to slow enemies for Zed's Q poke, then follow up with auto-attacks while they're slowed.
  • When Zed goes for W-E-Q combo, immediately auto-attack the slowed target and use Q for sustained damage if they can't disengage.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Push early levels to get level 2 first, then maintain a slow push to build up minions for Zed's roam timings.
  • Avoid hard shoving after level 6 unless Zed can match Swain's roam potential, as you become vulnerable to ganks.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't use R defensively against Tristana's all-in as her W reset will make your slow irrelevant.
  • Avoid trading when Swain has passive stacks ready, as his Q-auto combo will out-damage your poke significantly.
