Who Wins
- Pre-6 you lose most trades due to Pyke's Q hook threat and Poppy's W blocking your escape, but post-6 your R can counter-engage if Pyke misses his hook.
- The matchup remains difficult as both enemies have strong all-in potential that bypasses your range advantage.
Synergy & Trading
- Use W to poke when Pyke is out of Q range, then follow up with autos while Jhin uses Q or W for additional damage.
- Always position behind minions to avoid Pyke Q, and only commit to extended trades when his hook is on cooldown.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Push early levels to hit level 2 first and establish minion advantage, then maintain slow pushes to keep minions between you and Pyke.
- Avoid hard shoving after level 3 unless you have deep wards, as it makes you vulnerable to Pyke roams and ganks.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never use your summoner spells to escape Poppy W knockup alone - save them for when Pyke follows up with Q or R.
- Don't get baited into trading when Pyke has both Q and E available, as the combo will chunk you heavily.
