- You win scuttle fights at level 3 due to your Q engage and W damage over time, while Master Yi lacks reliable gap closing without items.
- From level 6, you can only guarantee wins if you land Q first and he doesn't have R available - if he gets R off before your combo, he will likely kill you through your damage.
Predicted Jungle Path
- Master Yi will likely start bot side krugs/gromp, full clear to top, then look for scuttle or gank opportunities around 3:15-3:30.
- He may skip some camps early if he spots gank opportunities since his early game is weak and he needs to find advantages.
Invade or Not
- You should invade his second buff around 3:00-3:15 when he's low from full clearing, specifically at his top side buff.
- Ward his jungle entrances and coordinate with your laners since you can't 1v1 him if he's healthy, but catching him low after camps gives you kill pressure.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste your Q on minions or miss it in fights - without Q, you cannot stick to Master Yi and he will kite you to death with autos and Q resets.
- Avoid fighting him in river or open areas where he can easily dodge your Q and run you down with superior mobility.
