LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Scuttle Contest
- At level 3, you win the scuttle fight if you engage first with your Q dash to stack your passive and trade aggressively — Vi's W shield takes time to stack and her Q has a long charge animation, so you can burst her down before she gets her full combo off.
- From level 6, you win 1v1 by using your mobility to dodge her Q with a well-timed E sidestep, then immediately punishing with your full Q-passive combo; if she lands Q on you, you lose the fight, so the win condition is strictly about not getting hit by her Q.
Predicted Jungle Path
- Vi will most likely run a standard full clear starting red or blue depending on side, then pathing toward scuttle at level 3 — she heavily favors early skirmishes and will look to gank mid or top after scuttle since her Q is a strong gank tool through walls.
- Expect her to prioritize getting level 6 quickly to use her R as a reliable pick tool, so she may skip camps to rush toward priority lanes.
Invade or Not
- You can invade Vi at her second buff (around 3:15–3:30) if you started opposite side, as she has no reliable escape and her Q requires a full charge to be threatening — catching her between camps with your Q mobility means she cannot disengage safely.
- However, if she has a support-style jungler or her laners have priority, avoid the invade entirely as you have no hard CC to guarantee a kill without assistance.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not overcommit to extended trades without your passive fully stacked — Vi's W gives her surprising durability in short trades and her Q into R combo deals massive burst that can delete you if you are caught standing still.
- Avoid walking into chokepoints where she can charge Q through terrain, as that removes your ability to sidestep and immediately flips the fight in her favor.
