Scuttle Contest

  • At level 3, you win the scuttle fight against Talon by forcing him to engage into your W shield, absorbing his burst, and then out-trading him in the sustained exchange with your Q and passive empowered autos.
  • From level 6, you guarantee a kill by baiting his R engage, immediately activating your W to shield the burst, and then using your own R to dash through him repeatedly while his cooldowns are down — he has no answer to your mobility once his combo is spent.

Predicted Jungle Path

  • Talon will most likely start Blue Buff and path Blue > Gromp > Wolves > Scuttle or Blue > Gromp > Red, looking to hit level 3 quickly and contest scuttle with his strong early burst.
  • He may also look for an early cheese invade on your Red Buff at level 2 if he suspects a bot-side start from you.

Invade or Not

  • You should not invade Talon's jungle blindly early, but if you track him taking his first camp and know he is low, you can contest his second buff at 3:15 by pathing through river, as your W shield negates his burst and you win the 1v1 at that health threshold.
  • If he is full health, avoid the invade — his level 3 all-in with E into full combo can kill you before your W cooldown resets.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not let Talon land his E onto you from outside your vision without your W ready, because his passive bleed combined with his full combo will chunk you below the threshold where your W shield and sustained damage can save the fight — always track his position and pre-activate W when he is nearby.
