Who Wins

  • Pre-6 you win if you land W-Q combo on either enemy, but struggle in extended trades due to their superior sustained damage and Pyke's sustain.
  • Post-6 your engage potential increases significantly with R, but Pyke's R execute and Jhin's R range make fights more complex.

Synergy & Trading

  • W-Q onto Jhin when he's reloading or onto Pyke when his hook is down, then immediately E to reduce incoming damage while Kalista follows up.
  • Focus Jhin in trades since he has no mobility spells and lower health, making him easier to burst with Kalista's E.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Roam after shoving waves when Pyke backs or when he roams first to match his pressure.
  • Optimal timings are after successful recalls, when your ADC is safely farming under tower, or when mid lane is gankable around levels 4-6.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't W-Q without vision of Pyke's position since he can hook Kalista during your combo animation.
  • Never engage when Jhin has 4th shot ready and Pyke has hook available - wait for one of these cooldowns before committing to trades.
