Who Wins
- Pre-6 you lose most 2v2s due to Swain's superior poke and Rell's counter-engage, but level 2 spike with W-Q can secure kills if Aphelios has good weapon synergy.
- Post-6 the matchup becomes more even as your R provides disengage against Swain's R all-in attempts.
Synergy & Trading
- Look for W-Q combos when Rell is out of position or has used W, then immediately E away to avoid extended trades in Swain's Q range.
- Your best trading windows are when Swain steps up to last-hit cannon minions or when Rell is dismounted.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Roam when the wave is pushing toward enemy tower and Aphelios has safe waveclear weapons like Infernum or Severum.
