Who Wins
- Pre-6, LeBlanc wins most exchanges because her Q-W combo deals burst damage before you can respond, and you lack the shroud or mobility to reliably dodge or punish her W landing.
- At level 3 you gain W and E which lets you trade back if she overextends post-W, but she can simply return with W reactivation before you deal meaningful damage, so you are not favored early.
How to Trade
- Post-6, the matchup becomes more even but LeBlanc still has the edge in short burst windows — your R-W gap close and shroud give you sustained pressure, but her R-W or R-Q combo can delete you before your second R cast if you are not in shroud.
- You win extended fights where you survive her initial combo, but she will rarely let that happen without her W return available.
Wave Control
- Your best trading pattern is to bait her W by standing near a minion wave so she has to commit to a risky position, then immediately use W to close on her before she reactivates W to escape.
- Use shroud to negate her follow-up E root and force her to either stay in a losing fight or burn W return without dealing full combo damage.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use W aggressively while her W is off cooldown — if she has W return available, she can simply leave after bursting you and you will have wasted your gap close.
- Wait for her W to be on cooldown or for her to have already used the return before committing to an all-in.
