Who Wins

  • Pre-6 you have a clear advantage because your Q poke forces him to spend Q on sustain rather than trading, and your E lets you initiate all-ins on your terms — post-6 the matchup becomes more dangerous because his R gives him burst and sustain simultaneously, but your R mobility still lets you disengage or reposition to avoid his empowered E pool damage.

How to Trade

  • Your best trading pattern is to land Q for the poke-and-return damage, then immediately E if he steps up to Q you back — follow with W and auto attacks during the charm duration, then use your second and third R dashes to either finish him or escape his W pool if he tries to disengage.

Wave Control

  • You should avoid hard shoving the wave because Vladimir thrives when he can farm safely under tower and sustain through poke — instead, maintain a slow push or freeze near your side to force him to overextend for CS, creating E charm angles, and use your R to roam when the wave is in a state that won't punish you.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not use E speculatively at range hoping he walks into it — Vladimir's W will simply negate the charm if he sees it coming, and you will have wasted your primary kill-threat tool, leaving you vulnerable to his all-in if your E is on cooldown and he has R available.
