LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you lose the lane if you play passively and let Zyra freely poke you with Q and plants, because her sustained chip damage outpaces your passive healing at early levels and she can root you for free trades.
- Post-6, your R fundamentally changes the matchup — the fear on activation disrupts her positioning, your healing becomes substantial, and if you land your Q sweet spots during R, you can kill her through her own plant damage.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to bait out her E root first by walking aggressively then sidestepping, then immediately dash in with your E and chain your three Q stages while she has no CC available.
- If you eat a root without your E up, disengage immediately rather than fighting through it, because her plants will deal significant damage while you're locked down and unable to reposition.
Wave Control
- Let the wave push toward you slightly so you can farm safely under tower pressure while Zyra is forced to walk up into your Q range to poke.
- Once you hit level 6, look to shove the wave quickly with your enhanced abilities and then look for an all-in, because her plants don't follow her if she's forced to back off and you can reset the lane state on your terms.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your E purely as an escape tool — it is your primary gap-closer into Zyra and wasting charges on dodging plants means you have no way to close the distance when you want to trade.
- Also avoid fighting her when she has both E and R available simultaneously, because the combination of root, fear immunity from her plants, and doubled plant spawns creates a CC chain that can stun-lock you long enough to kill you even through your R healing.
