Who Wins
- You dominate levels 1-3 with superior range, Q poke damage, and early game sustain from passive, making trades heavily favor you.
- At level 6, you lose kill pressure as Yone gains R engage potential and E mobility that makes landing your Q combo much more difficult.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to land Q1 or Q2 for poke, then when Yone steps up for CS, use your full Q combo while weaving in autos and W for maximum damage.
- Focus on hitting Q sweetspots for knockup and bonus damage, as missing these makes your trades significantly weaker.
Wave Control
- You want to maintain a slow push or freeze near your side to deny Yone farm while staying safe from ganks, using Q to poke him when he approaches minions.
- Avoid hard pushing as this gives Yone space to E engage on you, instead control the wave position to limit his mobility options.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste your Q combo when Yone has E available, as he can easily dodge your abilities and trade back favorably while you're on cooldown.
- Never fight him in extended trades post-6 without hitting your W pull, as his sustained damage with Q spam and lifesteal will eventually out-trade your burst.
