Who Wins
- You lose most pre-6 trades due to Vladimir's superior sustain and ability to avoid your Q sweet spots with movement and pool.
- Post-6 you gain significant kill pressure with R's enhanced stats and healing, especially if you can land W chains to guarantee your combo.
How to Trade
- Look for E-Q1 engages when Vladimir uses Q on minions, then hold Q2-Q3 to track his movement or pool usage.
- If he pools early, position to land Q sweet spots when he emerges; if he pools late, use W chains to lock him down for guaranteed follow-up.
Wave Control
- Push waves hard early to force Vladimir under tower where he struggles to sustain with Q on minions.
- After level 6, maintain minion advantage to enable longer all-ins where your R healing and extended combat favor you over his burst patterns.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste E dashes for minor poke trades, as Vladimir will simply Q sustain back up while you're left without gap closing tools.
- Avoid using all three Q casts immediately, as experienced Vladimir players will pool the final cast and leave you without damage or healing.
