Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win this lane clearly because your E+Q plant combo outdamages his voidling setup and your range lets you poke him off the wave before he can stack W effectively.
- Post-6, the matchup flips dangerously — his R suppresses you through your plants and your R, meaning one mistake in positioning hands him a free kill regardless of your lead.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to pre-place E in his path, then immediately cast Q through it to spawn plants before he can silence you with his Q — if he silences you first, your plants never spawn and you lose the trade entirely.
- Always initiate the combo yourself rather than reacting, because his Q silence is the single ability that completely shuts down your damage output.
Wave Control
- Play for a slow push or freeze near your side of the lane to force him to walk up into your plant zones, since your plants deal significantly more damage when he has to step into them rather than you chasing him.
