Who Wins
- You lose early 1v1s levels 1-3 due to Galio's Q poke and passive shield trades being more reliable than your Q poke.
- At level 6, you win the all-in potential with R positioning and E setup, but Galio's R gives him strong roam priority.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is Q through minions for max damage then immediately back off, avoiding extended trades where Galio can land W or chase with E.
- Use W movement speed from spell shards to kite backwards after landing Q poke.
Wave Control
- Push waves quickly with Q to match Galio's roam timings, but be careful of his waveclear advantage with Q.
- Maintain distance from the wave when possible to avoid his Q hitting both you and minions simultaneously.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't use E aggressively without vision control as Galio's W can interrupt your combo and his jungler can easily collapse.
- Avoid fighting in the river or jungle where Galio's R can easily reach you from his team.
