- You win pre-6 through superior range and poke with Q, but Cho'Gath becomes increasingly dangerous post-6 when his R provides massive burst potential that can one-shot you if you're caught.
- His level 6 power spike is significant as R + Flash can kill you from surprising health thresholds.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading pattern involves using Q through minions for maximum damage while staying at max range, then immediately backing off to avoid his Q knockup.
- Never commit to extended trades as his E damage and sustain through passive will favor him in longer engagements.
Wave Control
- You want to maintain a slow push or freeze near your tower to keep the wave in a safe position while poking him down.
- Avoid hard shoving as it leaves you vulnerable to ganks and gives him free farm under tower where he's relatively safe.
