Who Wins
- You win pre-6 through superior range and mobility, as your Q poke outranges Brand's abilities and E allows you to dodge his W-Q combo.
- Post-6 Brand becomes more dangerous with his R burst potential, but you still maintain the advantage if you respect his all-in range and use your superior mobility.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading pattern is Q max range poke followed by immediate repositioning with E or flash if needed to avoid Brand's retaliation.
- Never commit to extended trades as Brand's passive and W damage over time will out-damage your burst in prolonged fights.
Wave Control
- Push early waves with Q to establish priority and roam timing, but transition to freezing or slow pushing when Brand gets his W max rank around level 7-9.
- Your goal is to maintain CS leads through safe farming while looking for picks with E-Q combos rather than forcing lane trades.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never use E aggressively for engage unless you're certain of the kill, as Brand can easily punish your immobility during the sleep animation with W-Q-R combo.
- Avoid fighting in minion waves where Brand's W and R can bounce off creeps for additional damage.
