Who Wins

  • Pre-6 you dominate with superior range and waveclear, easily poking down both enemies while maintaining safe distance from Amumu's Q threat.
  • Post-6 you maintain poke advantage but must respect their burst combo potential, especially Amumu R into Jhin R which can kill you through your range advantage.

Synergy & Trading

  • Use Q to poke constantly while maintaining max range, and coordinate with Mel's Q for overlapping AoE damage zones.
  • Focus on wearing them down with consistent poke rather than all-in trades, as your sustained damage output is superior.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Constantly push waves with Q and E to deny Amumu roam opportunities and force them under tower where they take poke damage.
  • Use W defensively to disengage if Amumu lands Q, and maintain minion advantages through superior waveclear.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't waste W offensively for damage as you need it to escape Amumu Q engages - it's your primary survival tool.
