Who Wins
- You lose early trades levels 1-3 due to Yasuo's superior sustained damage with Q stacks and passive shield, plus his ability to block your Q poke with W.
- At level 6, you gain kill pressure with R but Yasuo can still outplay with proper W timing and E mobility through minions.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is W-E-Q combo when Yasuo's W is down, then immediately W back to safety before he can extended trade with autos and Q.
- Never commit to extended trades without your R, as his sustained damage and shield will win longer engagements.
Wave Control
- Push early waves with W-E-Q to prevent Yasuo from freezing and building Q stacks safely, but be careful of jungle ganks since you'll be extended.
- After level 6, look for slow pushes into roam timings rather than trying to zone him off waves.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't use W aggressively when Yasuo has tornado ready, as he can Q3-E combo onto you for massive damage while your escape is on cooldown.
- Avoid trading when his passive shield is up, as you'll waste cooldowns for minimal damage.
