Who Wins
- You lose early levels 1-3 due to Aatrox's superior sustain and Q poke range, but you win at level 6 with your ultimate combo potential.
- Your kill pressure spikes dramatically once you have Death Mark available.
How to Trade
- You should poke with W-E-Q combos when Aatrox uses his Q abilities on minions, then immediately shadow back to safety.
- Never extended trade in melee range as his passive and sustain will out-damage you over time.
Wave Control
- You want to maintain a slow push or freeze near your tower to deny Aatrox's aggressive positioning.
- Avoid hard shoving unless you can roam, as Aatrox can easily zone you from CS when the wave bounces back.
Mistakes to Avoid
- You must never use your W shadow aggressively without vision of the enemy jungler, as Aatrox can easily set up ganks with his knockup chains.
- Don't waste your ultimate on Aatrox when he has his E dash available, as he can easily escape the death mark pop.
