Who Wins
- You lose early 1v1s levels 1-3 due to Irelia's superior burst with Q resets and W damage reduction negating your Q healing.
- At level 6, you gain kill pressure if you land W pull into R combo, but Irelia still wins if she dodges your W or has stacked passive.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading pattern is W pull to guarantee E outer edge damage, then Q auto-reset while she's displaced.
- Never trade without landing W first since Irelia will out-DPS you in straight auto-attack exchanges with her passive stacked.
Wave Control
- Push early waves hard with E to deny Irelia minion resets and force her to last-hit under tower.
- Once you have items, look to freeze near your tower where she can't engage without overextending into your W-E-R combo.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never fight Irelia when she has 4-5 passive stacks or when there are low-health minions nearby for Q resets.
