Who Wins

  • Pre-6: Brand wins through superior range and poke damage, forcing you into unfavorable trades.
  • Post-6: You gain kill pressure with R engage potential, but Brand's burst combo can still delete you if you misplay the all-in.

How to Trade

  • Look for W pulls when Brand uses Q or W on minions, then follow with E dash and extended Q trades to build Determination stacks.
  • Avoid short trades where Brand gets free poke - commit to longer engagements where your sustain and stacking passive provide value.

Wave Control

  • Let Brand push early levels and farm safely near your tower where his poke is less effective.
  • Once you have items and levels, look to freeze the wave and force him to overextend for CS where you can punish with W-E all-ins.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't chase Brand through his W-E-Q combo rotation without sufficient Determination stacks built up first.
  • Engaging without your passive stacked leaves you vulnerable to his burst damage and gives him an easy escape with your cooldowns blown.
