Who Wins
- Pre-6 you are entirely dependent on Zeri surviving Nautilus's hook since you cannot peel for her while attached and unattaching to Q Nautilus leaves Zeri without your shield; post-6 your R becomes a game-changing tool that can CC both Ashe and Nautilus simultaneously, shifting the 2v2 decisively in your favor if Zeri has R stacks.
Synergy & Trading
- Stay attached to Zeri during all-ins to maximize your W healing and E shield uptime, but detach briefly to throw Q at Nautilus when he walks up to hook — hitting Nautilus with your Q slows his engage and buys Zeri time to reposition before the hook lands.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should not roam in this matchup because Ashe+Nautilus has strong pick potential on Zeri if she is left alone, and your absence removes the healing that keeps Zeri alive through Ashe's sustained poke; only consider a roam if the wave is frozen deep in your side and Zeri is safely recalling.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not stay detached from Zeri when Nautilus is within hook range — an unattached Yuumi is a free target for Nautilus's Q and Ashe's R, and losing you to a pick mid-fight removes all of Zeri's sustain and makes the 2v2 a straightforward win for the enemy bot lane.
