Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you lose the 2v2 — Lux's E root into Jinx Zap is a reliable poke combo, and without R you have no dash to escape or engage, making you a stationary target that Lux can freely poke.
  • Post-6, your R fundamentally changes the dynamic: your E becomes a dash that lets you close on Lux, your W laser can hit both enemies in a line, and your sustained Q damage in extended fights outscales Jinx's burst window.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best trading pattern is to wait for Lux to use E on the wave or miss it, then activate R and dash (E) onto Jinx — Jinx is immobile and your Q splash will hit her hard in an extended fight while Pantheon locks her down.
  • Never engage without R active pre-6; instead, stack Q on the wave passively and play for the level 6 power spike.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Pre-6, let the wave push toward you to farm safely under tower and avoid Lux's poke range — a frozen wave near your tower forces Jinx to overextend to CS, creating gank opportunities for your jungler.
  • Post-6, you can start pushing aggressively with R's Q splash clearing waves faster, which creates roam windows for Pantheon.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not activate R randomly — it has a 15-second window and you need to use it to either all-in or disengage, not waste it on a single W poke.
  • Also, avoid stacking your Q on minions while Lux has E available; she will root you mid-stack and you will take a full combo without being able to fight back effectively.
