Who Wins
- Pre-6, MF + Seraphine win the 2v2 — MF's passive burst on poke trades and Seraphine's E root into damage combo outpaces your pre-R damage output, and your immobility without R makes you vulnerable to their all-in.
- Post-6, your R fundamentally changes the fight: your W laser slow and permanent Q splash with Lulu's shields and polymorph give you a strong extended fight advantage, but you must avoid Seraphine's R setup before you can activate yours.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best trading pattern is to wait for Lulu to land a W slow or E speed boost before activating your R, then immediately use your W laser to lock down a target and let your Q splash damage do work in the extended fight — do not activate R into a Seraphine E root because you'll be a stationary target.
- Stack your Q passively on minions before a trade so you enter fights closer to your damage threshold.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Use your Q active's splash damage to accelerate wave clear and maintain a pushed wave, which limits Seraphine's safe poke range and forces MF to choose between farming and trading.
- Avoid freezing the wave near their tower, as your immobility pre-R makes you easy to dive or zone when the wave is deep in enemy territory.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not activate your R preemptively before Seraphine's E is on cooldown — getting rooted during your R window wastes most of its 15-second duration and leaves you as a stationary damage sponge.
- Your R is your only mobility tool via the E dash upgrade, so entering it while CC'd is one of the most punishing mistakes you can make in this matchup.
