Who Wins

  • Pre-6, Neeko + Taric win most extended trades: Neeko's poke is consistent, Taric's sustain negates your damage, and you lack mobility to dodge Neeko's E root.
  • Post-6, your R flips the dynamic — permanent Q splash, upgraded W slow, and E dash let you kite and deal sustained hybrid damage that Taric's healing struggles to keep up with over 15 seconds.

Synergy & Trading

  • Stack your Q passively on minions before engaging, then activate Q for the attack speed burst and splash to hit both Neeko and Taric simultaneously — Jinx's Zap and Chompers should CC them in place to maximize your on-hit window.
  • Avoid committing to trades without Q active, as your base damage without the splash is insufficient to pressure Taric's sustain.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Push the wave consistently using Q active splash to clear faster; a shove-and-back pattern denies Neeko free poke while you're in a vulnerable position near minions.
  • Avoid extended slow-push scenarios where Neeko can freely poke you under pressure — you want the wave reset quickly so you control spacing.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not use your E aggressively pre-6 to chase — it is your only escape tool and has a meaningful cooldown; burning it to trade into Taric's stun setup will leave you stranded.
  • Neeko's E root into Taric's R is a kill combo that punishes any overextension, so respect the all-in threat even when you feel ahead.
