Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you lose the 2v2 because you are immobile without your R and Tristana's E jump combined with Zilean's double-bomb creates burst you cannot escape or sustain through — play defensively and farm safely.
  • Post-6, your R fundamentally shifts the matchup since you gain a dash through Zilean's bombs and your sustained splash damage during R punishes Tristana's tendency to fight near minions, but Zilean's R still negates one kill attempt so you need to burn it before committing.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best trading pattern is to activate R before engaging, use E to dash onto Tristana, then immediately W to slow her and stack Q passive hits with the active attack speed — the splash damage during R means nearby minions amplify your effective damage output, and Braum's passive stacking on Tristana forces Zilean to choose between peeling and bombing.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Push the wave slowly and look for Braum to engage first, since you need your R available for all-ins and wasting it on a wave clear leaves you immobile and vulnerable to Tristana's E jump — let Braum initiate with his Q or W to give you a safe window to activate R and follow up.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not activate R reactively after Tristana has already jumped onto you, because your E dash during R requires you to be the aggressor to use it effectively — if you pop R while already being bursted, you gain the dash but have no safe target to dash toward and will still die to the Tristana-Zilean combo.
