Who Wins

  • You lose early trades pre-6 due to Tahm's superior base stats and Q poke, but can start winning around level 3-4 when you have multiple ghouls and W to trap him.
  • Post-6, you win extended fights if you land W and have maiden + ghouls, but Tahm can still win short trades with his passive stacks.

How to Trade

  • You want to poke with Q empowered autos when ghouls are up, then immediately back off before Tahm can stack his passive on you.
  • Never commit to extended trades without W to trap him, as his mobility with W makes it easy for him to disengage unfavorably.

Wave Control

  • You should push early waves to build graves, then look to freeze near your tower once you have 3-4 graves ready for all-ins.
  • Avoid slow pushing into Tahm as he can easily break your freeze with Q spam and force bad trades.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • You must not waste W when Tahm has his W available, as he can easily escape and you lose your main engage tool.
  • Never fight him in minion waves without ghouls, as his passive stacking will outdamage you significantly in extended trades.
