Who Wins
- You win early trades pre-6 due to your W shield and E engage/disengage flexibility, but Yasuo can match your damage if he lands Q3 knockup combos.
- Post-6 you have a significant advantage with R's execute damage and ability to gap-close through his W, making you the stronger duelist.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading pattern is E forward, auto-Q-W for shield, then either commit with Q3 if you land it or E back to safety.
- Always look to proc your W empowered auto after the shield expires for maximum damage output.
Wave Control
- Push early waves to build minion advantage for your E engages, but be careful not to overextend without E available.
- After level 6, you can afford to fight in longer lanes since your R gives you kill pressure even when he tries to disengage.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste your E aggressively when Yasuo has Q3 stacked, as he can knockup and trade favorably while your escape is on cooldown.
- Never fight extended trades without your W shield available, as Yasuo's sustained DPS will outdamage you significantly.
