Who Wins
- You win early trades levels 1-3 with superior range on Q and E engage potential, forcing favorable trades when Yasuo uses E aggressively.
- At level 6, you're at a disadvantage since Yasuo's R combo is more reliable and his windwall can block your R, making your all-ins more predictable.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is E forward, Q1-Q2 for tornado, then either Q3 knockup combo or W shield to absorb return damage before E snap-back to safety.
- Always ensure your E spirit is positioned safely since Yasuo can chase you down with minion dashes if you're overextended.
Wave Control
- You want to maintain wave control in the center or slightly on your side to maximize E engage range while having safe snap-back positioning.
- Push only when you have kill pressure or recall timing, as Yasuo's superior wave clear and mobility make him dangerous when you're overextended.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't use E aggressively when Yasuo has tornado charged (Q3) since he can instantly R you during your spirit form, leaving you unable to snap back.
- Never waste your W shield on minion damage - save it for Yasuo's burst combos when he commits with Q3-R or extended trades.
