Who Wins
- You lose early trades pre-6 due to Taliyah's superior range and Q poke damage, but can start winning all-ins post-6 with R engage potential.
- Level 2 E gives you gap-close potential but Taliyah's W can interrupt your dash and leave you vulnerable.
How to Trade
- You want to E forward, auto-Q-auto for quick trades then E back to safety, avoiding extended fights where she can land full W-E combo.
- Save your W shield for her burst combo rather than using it for poke mitigation.
Wave Control
- You should push early waves to prevent her from establishing zone control with Q, then look for roam timings when she backs or uses R.
- Avoid slow pushing into her as she can easily clear waves and poke you under tower.
Mistakes to Avoid
- You must not E forward predictably when her W is available, as getting knocked up leads to guaranteed E follow-up damage.
- Don't chase her through her E field as the damage amplification makes trades heavily favor her.
