Who Wins
- You lose early trades pre-6 due to Olaf's superior base damage and sustain from W, but the matchup shifts heavily in your favor post-6.
- Your R gives you the mobility and burst to avoid his axes while dealing significant damage, and your E allows you to engage and disengage safely.
How to Trade
- Look for short trades using E-Q3-W-auto then immediately snap back to avoid his retaliation axes.
- Never commit to extended trades without your E up, as Olaf will run you down with his passive attack speed and Q spam.
Wave Control
- Push waves early to prevent Olaf from freezing and zoning you with axes, then look to roam once you hit 6.
- You want to avoid long lane phases where he can repeatedly chunk you down with Q poke.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't get hit by multiple axes in succession as the slow will allow him to run you down with autos and W healing.
- Avoid fighting him when he's low HP as his passive makes him extremely dangerous in extended trades.
