Who Wins

  • You lose early trades pre-6 due to Ekko's Q poke and W shield/stun threat, but can start winning extended trades around level 3-4 when you have Q3 knockup and E.
  • Post-6 you win all-ins if you dodge his W stun since your R gives you better engage and escape tools than his R.

How to Trade

  • Look for short Q3 knockup trades followed by E engage when his Q is on cooldown, then disengage before he can proc his passive.
  • Avoid extended trades when his W is available since the shield and potential stun heavily favor him.

Wave Control

  • Push early waves to prevent him from freezing and poking you freely, but be ready to thin push or reset when you hit your power spikes.
  • After level 6, look to build slow pushes before attempting all-ins so you have minion advantage and he can't easily escape.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't chase him through minions when his Q is available since he'll get free poke and waveclear while you take minion damage.
  • Avoid fighting in his W zone at all costs - the shield and stun make trades heavily unfavorable even when you're ahead.
