Who Wins
- You lose early trades pre-6 due to Anivia's superior range and Q-E burst combo that you cannot reliably dodge.
- Post-6, you win all-ins if you can engage with minions nearby, as your R damage and mobility overwhelm her even through her passive.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is stacking Q on minions, then E-Q3-AA-E out when she steps up for CS or abilities.
- Avoid extended trades without your tornado ready, as her sustained damage with E and autos will chunk you down.
Wave Control
- You want to maintain a slow push or freeze near your side to have minions for E mobility while denying her safe farming.
- Hard shoving is dangerous as it gives her free Q angles and removes your escape options.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never E directly onto Anivia without your Q3 ready or when her Q is available, as you'll eat a guaranteed Q-E combo with no escape.
- Don't underestimate her level 6 power spike - her R-E combo can instantly delete you if you're not healthy.
