Who Wins
- You lose most early trades due to Aatrox's range and sustain advantage, but can win short trades at level 2-3 if you E through minions to dodge his Q sweetspots.
- Post-6 you can win all-ins if you dodge his Q3 with your R and have minions to reset E cooldowns.
How to Trade
- You want to E through minions to get close, auto-Q-auto for quick trades, then immediately E away before he can land Q2 or Q3.
- Only commit to extended trades when his Q is on cooldown or when you can consistently dodge sweetspots.
Wave Control
- You should maintain a slow push or freeze to keep minions available for E resets while preventing him from building large waves.
- Fast pushing is dangerous since it removes your mobility options and gives him free poke.
Mistakes to Avoid
- You cannot afford to get hit by his W-Q3 combo as it chunks you heavily and heals him significantly.
- Never engage when you don't have minions nearby for E resets, as you'll be stuck in his range without escape options.
