Who Wins
- You win levels 1-3 through superior all-in potential with Q knockup and E gap closer, forcing short trades before Aatrox can stack his passive.
- At level 6, Aatrox becomes significantly stronger due to his R providing sustain and damage that outscales your burst potential in extended fights.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading pattern involves E-auto-Q-auto-W for quick burst, then immediately backing off before Aatrox can land his Q sweet spots.
- Never commit to extended trades as his passive healing and Q damage will overwhelm you in longer engagements.
Wave Control
- Push early waves aggressively to establish level advantages and deny Aatrox farm, but transition to freezing near your tower once he hits level 6.
- This forces him to overextend for CS while keeping you safe from his enhanced all-in potential with R.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never fight Aatrox in extended trades after level 6, especially when his passive is stacked or R is available.
- Avoid staying in melee range after your initial combo as his Q sweet spots and passive healing will turn any extended fight in his favor.
