Who Wins
- You lose early 1v1s levels 1-3 due to Syndra's superior burst and Q spam harass through minions.
- At level 6, you still lose the all-in since her R provides guaranteed burst while your combo requires landing skillshots against her mobility.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to poke with max range Q when she goes for CS, then immediately back off before she can retaliate with Q-E combo.
- Never try to extended trade as her sustained damage and burst potential outmatches your cooldown-dependent poke.
Wave Control
- Push waves quickly with Q to create distance and roam opportunities, as you cannot match her in side lane skirmishes.
- Focus on clearing waves from maximum range and looking for picks with your superior range rather than trying to control the wave state.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never walk up to auto-attack minions or harass when your E is on cooldown, as Syndra can easily all-in you with Q-E-W-R combo.
- Avoid using Q to poke when the wave is in a bad position, as you'll be vulnerable to her engage without escape tools.
