Who Wins
- You win pre-6 through superior range and poke, but Akali can all-in you at level 2-3 if you misposition near minions.
- Post-6 you lose hard as her R gives her guaranteed gap close through your E, and her W makes landing skillshots nearly impossible.
How to Trade
- Poke with Q from max range when Akali goes for CS, then immediately back away to avoid her Q-E combo.
- Never try to trade when she has energy for full rotation as she will out-damage you in extended fights.
Wave Control
- Push waves hard with Q to keep Akali under tower and prevent her from roaming, but maintain distance from minion line.
- You want to recall before she hits 6 and gets kill pressure on you.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't use E defensively against her W shroud as she can easily sidestep it while invisible.
- Save your E for when she commits with R, as that's your only chance to create distance and survive her all-in.
