Who Wins

  • You lose pre-6 as your poke gets negated by Thresh's engage threat and Aphelios can sustain through Severum.
  • Post-6 your R gives strong pick potential, but you still lose all-ins if Thresh lands hooks.

Synergy & Trading

  • Use E to set up Jhin's W root, then follow with Q poke while enemies are CC'd.
  • Focus on poking when Thresh abilities are on cooldown, as his engage range matches your Q range.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Roam mid or jungle when the wave is pushed and Thresh recalls, typically around levels 4-6.
  • Your R gives excellent roam impact, but only roam when Jhin can safely farm under tower.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't use E defensively against Thresh hook unless absolutely necessary, as you need it to set up offensive plays with Jhin.
