Who Wins
- Pre-6, Caitlyn + Rell have the advantage — Caitlyn's range outpaces yours and Rell's level 2 W all-in is faster and more punishing than Braum's passive setup requires.
- Post-6, your R makes you untouchable during Rell's R or Caitlyn's R, which is a significant survivability swing, but you still need to respect their burst window before your R is available.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best trading pattern is to auto-weave to stack feathers, then use E to root Caitlyn or Rell when Braum has applied at least two passive stacks — the root into passive stun chain is your highest-damage window.
- Avoid extended poke trades because Caitlyn's headshot passive will out-damage your sustained DPS at her range.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Play for a slow push or slight freeze to deny Caitlyn free poke on you while you're last-hitting — standing in the open wave to CS gives Caitlyn free headshot procs.
- When the wave is pushed to their tower, back off rather than diving, as Rell's engage under tower with Caitlyn's headshot is a kill setup.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your R purely as a damage tool — its primary value in this matchup is to dodge Rell's R or Caitlyn's R, and burning it offensively leaves you exposed to their follow-up CC chain.
- Mistiming your R by using it before Rell commits her R is a common error that removes your safety net entirely.
