LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win short trades decisively at level 2 when you have Q and W — you can proc your passive armor stacks, deal damage, and W out before Yorick's ghouls can pressure you, and he has no reliable way to keep you in range.
- Post-6, his R dramatically changes the dynamic: fighting inside his R is a losing proposition for you, and your R's knock-up value is partially negated by the fact that his ghouls continue attacking you through the duration.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to use your E to dash in, proc your passive, land Q, then immediately W out before his ghouls can stack damage on you — repeat this pattern to whittle him down without ever committing to a full trade where his sustained ghoul damage and Q healing outpace your burst.
Wave Control
- You want to keep the wave in a neutral or slightly favorable position near the middle of the lane, avoiding letting him build a slow push — a large wave of ghouls plus minions crashing into you removes your mobility advantage and forces you to either take bad fights or lose significant CS, so contest his wave control early.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your W purely as a reflex escape when he lands E — if you W immediately every time he roots you, you become predictable and he will simply reposition his ghouls to cover your clone's location; instead, use W proactively to bait his E before he can land it, preserving your escape for when you actually need it.
