- You lose scuttle fights at level 3 as your W clone doesn't provide enough damage mitigation against Volibear's sustained Q-W combo.
- From level 6, you only win if you can bait out his Q, then use W to dodge his R knockup and re-engage with your own R when his abilities are down.
Predicted Jungle Path
- Volibear will likely full clear into scuttle, then look for aggressive invades or counter-ganks due to his strong early dueling.
- He tends to path towards whichever side has the most gankable lanes since his Q guarantees successful ganks.
Invade or Not
- You should not invade Volibear as he wins most 1v1 scenarios and has better sustain with his W.
- Instead, focus on counter-jungling his camps when you see him on the opposite side of the map, using your E to clear quickly and escape.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't use your W clone too early in fights as Volibear can simply wait it out and re-engage with fresh cooldowns.
- Avoid fighting him in river or open areas where he can easily land Q, instead try to fight near walls where your R can deal maximum damage.
