LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you have a meaningful edge at level 3 when you can use E to gap-close, Q to shred armor and poke, then W to disengage safely — Master Yi has no reliable way to punish your W clone and must respect your burst window.
- Post-6, your R gives you a knockup that interrupts his R reset loop and makes extended fights heavily favor you, as his sustained DPS is nullified when he's airborne.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to E onto him, immediately Q to apply the armor reduction, auto-attack once or twice, then W out before his E stacks build up — never let him reach full E stacks on you in a prolonged fight.
- Use Q's empowered auto after W re-engage to maximize burst in short windows rather than trading blow-for-blow.
Wave Control
- Push the wave early with your Q poke to force him under tower, where his weak wave clear and lack of range make last-hitting awkward and deny him free farm.
- Once you hit level 6, look to freeze near your side of the lane to bait all-ins where your R knockup and burst combo can kill him before his R sustain becomes relevant.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use W purely as an escape tool and then re-engage without your Q cooldown ready — going back in without the armor shred means you are trading into his raw DPS with no damage advantage.
- Avoid extended fights at all costs; if your burst combo doesn't kill him quickly, his E sustain and R healing will outpace your damage.
