LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you lose most extended trades against Yasuo because his E mobility lets him dodge your Q and reposition constantly, and his passive shield regenerates between your poke attempts; post-6, your R gives you a reliable all-in tool, but Yasuo can still dash away or windwall your Q mid-fight, so you need to R first and commit fully rather than fishing for a Q opener.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to absorb a small trade, let your W passive heal you back up, then force a longer fight when Yasuo's passive shield is down and he has no nearby minions to dash through — your sustained damage and healing win wars of attrition, not short burst exchanges.
Wave Control
- Push the wave consistently to deny Yasuo the flowing minion line he needs to dash freely; a stacked wave gives him too many E targets to be slippery, so keeping the wave near your tower or in a slow push state limits his mobility and forces him into awkward positions.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not walk up to trade when Yasuo has his passive shield active and a full minion wave present — you will take a Q or auto-Q combo, he dashes out, and you gain nothing while he resets his shield faster than your W heals you back.
