LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, Sion wins most extended trades due to his W shield absorbing your damage and his E slow setting up free hits; you can look for short Q-in-Q-out trades when his W is on cooldown, but you lose any fight where he gets to stack his W fully.
- Post-6, your R gives you a reliable all-in tool, but Sion's R can interrupt yours if he activates it mid-channel, and his passive means you must burn him down twice — your healing helps but his bulk often outlasts your burst window.
How to Trade
- Your best pattern is to wait for Sion to waste his W on a minion or miss his E, then immediately Q onto him for a short trade and disengage before his W recharges; never let him stack W to full because the shield absorbs a significant portion of your damage output.
- Poking him below 50% HP is meaningful because your passive healing accelerates and your Q heals more, but you need to respect that he out-sustains short skirmishes with his W shield regenerating between trades.
Wave Control
- Push the wave hard early to deny Sion passive farm stacks and force him to last-hit under tower, which reduces his W stacking efficiency on the wave; a larger wave also means his Q knockup is harder to land in a cluttered lane.
- Avoid freezing because Sion thrives in slow, passive lanes where he can freely stack his W and Q you without pressure — keeping the wave moving limits his setup time.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not walk up to trade when Sion has a fully charged W ready, as you will absorb the full shield burst and he will immediately follow with E slow into extended auto-attack trading where he wins; this is the single most common mistake Warwick players make in this matchup.
- Also avoid using R on a Sion who is below roughly 10% HP, because his passive will activate and he can still kill you while you are locked in the animation.
