LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win short trades at level 1 with your passive healing and W slow, but Aatrox's level 3 spike with full Q access and E repositioning makes extended trades dangerous if he lands sweet spots consistently.
- Post-6, your R gives you a strong all-in window with the fear and healing burst, but Aatrox's R healing and AD steroid can outlast you if the fight goes long and he's landing his Q third stage knockup.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to engage with W to slow him, force him to use E reactively, then auto-attack chain while his Q is on cooldown since his damage is heavily gated by Q landing.
- Avoid standing in his Q third stage hitbox by sidestepping during his wind-up; if he whiffs Q, that's your window to deal free damage with autos and passive healing.
Wave Control
- You want to shove the wave early to deny him safe Q poke under tower, since Aatrox is a strong wave clearer but needs to be in melee range to do so, exposing him to your W engage.
- Avoid letting the wave freeze near his tower, as he can freely poke you with Q while you're forced to walk up to farm.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not fight him when his R is active and he has already landed a Q knockup, because his healing and AD steroid during R make him nearly unkillable in a prolonged fight.
- Respecting his R timing and disengaging when he pops it is critical — your R should be used to initiate or escape, not to match his R-enhanced sustain head-on.
