Who Wins
- You win most trades pre-6 through your Q engage into W bite combo, especially at level 2 when Yorick only has Q or E available.
- Post-6 the matchup becomes significantly harder as Yorick's R creates a zone you cannot contest, and his Maiden + ghouls outdamage your R in extended fights.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading pattern is Q engage when Yorick uses E on minions, then W bite and walk away before his Q empowerment comes up.
- Never extend trades when he has 3-4 graves nearby as the ghoul spawn will turn the trade heavily in his favor.
Wave Control
- Push early levels to deny Yorick's grave generation and look for short trades, but transition to freezing near your tower once he hits 6.
- You cannot match his split push power with Maiden up, so focus on setting up ganks rather than trying to out-push him.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never fight Yorick in his W cage when he has Maiden and ghouls up - you will lose every extended trade.
- Don't waste your Q dash to engage when you see 3+ graves on the ground, as the immediate ghoul spawn will make the trade heavily unfavorable.
