Who Wins

  • You lose pre-6 due to his range advantage and your lack of reliable gap closers, taking too much poke while farming.
  • Post-6 you gain kill pressure if you can land Q, but he still has tools to kite you with E and execute you with R before your healing kicks in.

How to Trade

  • Look for Q engages only when his E is down or when you have minion advantage to absorb his W damage.
  • Once you land Q, immediately W for the bite heal and stick with passive lightning - don't let him kite you out of the trade.

Wave Control

  • Accept being pushed in early and focus on farming safely under tower while looking for jungle assistance.
  • After 6, try to freeze near your tower to create longer lanes for Q engages where he can't easily escape.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't chase him through minions with Q if he has E available - he'll just knock you back and W you down while you're slowed.
  • Also avoid trading when you're low since his R execute will kill you before your W healing can save you.
