Who Wins
- You win pre-6 trades through levels 1-3 if you can land Q stuns, but Rumble's Q poke and E slow make it difficult to engage consistently.
- Post-6, you have kill pressure with R engage, but Rumble's R can counter-zone your all-ins and his sustained damage output becomes problematic in extended fights.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is Q flash or Q when Rumble overextends, followed by W bite and E shield to absorb his retaliation damage.
- You need to commit fully to trades since Rumble will out-poke you in short exchanges with his Q and E combination.
Wave Control
- Push early levels to establish priority, then look to freeze near your tower to force Rumble to overextend for CS.
- You want to create opportunities for jungle ganks since Rumble has no reliable escape once his E is down.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't take repeated Q poke without trading back, as Rumble will slowly whittle you down and force you out of lane.
- Avoid chasing through his R zone or fighting in extended trades when he has heat management advantage, as his sustained DPS will overwhelm you.
